The Cornhusker

Elizabeth and Byron Anderson Sculpture Garden

Christian Petersen’s Cornhusker is displayed prominently in the Elizabeth and Byron Anderson Sculpture Garden adjacent to Morrill Hall. Additional bronze castings of Cornhusker are on display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City. Art pieces in the Anderson Sculpture Garden represent the richly diverse character of modern and contemporary sculpture.
