Program Manager - Donor Compliance Services
The Iowa State University Foundation seeks a highly motivated individual to join its team of accomplished professionals. The position performs as a professional partner/resource to Foundation staff and campus administrators.
Responsibilities include drafting gift agreements, performing periodic reviews on accounts to examine compliance with donor intent, providing expert knowledge in matters related to the administration of gift agreements, conducting outreach and training for campus administrators, and developing effective staff training for enhancing the understanding of agreements, guidelines and issues.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of professional experience with an emphasis in accounting, finance, gift/estate planning, gift/grant administration and/or transactional law. Must be highly organized, possess the ability to concurrently advance multiple projects, maintain confidentiality and be deadline oriented. Leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people are necessary. Prior higher education, public sector, nonprofit, and/or philanthropic administrative experience in a constituency responsive fast paced team environment involving agreements, policies and compliance issues is preferred.
Director of Development - College of Veterinary Medicine
The ISU Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and performance-oriented fundraising professional to personally raise major gifts for high priority projects within the College of Veterinary Medicine. Incumbent will identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors giving personal, corporate or foundation gifts while establishing relationships with key administrators and faculty in facilitating fundraising.

The successful candidate will promote donor-centered philanthropy, a critical aspect allowing Iowa State University to continually achieve excellence both in fundraising and within its academic mission. Candidates for the position are required to have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of significant fundraising or related experience. Experience working in a complex university setting is highly desirable. Willingness to travel extensively nationwide, excellent writing, listening, and speaking skills are required as well as strong organizational and time-management skills, computer competence, adaptability, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations
The Iowa State University Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and performance-oriented fundraising professional to lead and manage our Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) fundraising program. Essential duties include personally cultivating and soliciting a portfolio of leadership and major gift level corporate and foundation prospects, managing/coaching the ISU Foundation’s CFR staff, and working with interdisciplinary teams across campus to maximize the ISU Foundation’s fundraising efforts on behalf of Iowa State University.
