ISU Foundation to Host Professional Advisor Conference

Ames, Iowa — The Iowa State University Foundation’s Office of Gift Planning is sponsoring a free professional advisor continuing education conference Friday, Sept. 25.

The daylong event will take place in the Lepke Room of the ISU Foundation located at 2505 University Boulevard in Ames. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a series of informational sessions from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Participants will learn about the latest strategies regarding charitable giving and estate planning, the effects of Iowa’s same-sex marriage court decision on employment benefits, and ethics and professional responsibility.

Continuing education credits will be granted to Iowa attorneys, CPA’s, CFPs®, and life and health agents. A continental breakfast and box lunch are included.
